College to host "Concert in the Park"

Maritzburg College, in it’s 150th year, is proud to be hosting the annual ‘Concert in the Park’ featuring the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, usually held at the Botanic Gardens in Pietermaritzburg.
This concert is always a popular choice as a family outing. Richard Cock will be conducting the 60 piece orchestra through Some popular classics with guest appearances by Joseph Clark, Soprano Bongiwe Madlala and pianist Christopher Duigan.
Past and present boys of College will also be sharing the stage. Goldstones is a perfect site for this concert and you are invitedto bring your picnic blankets, snacks and refreshments along.
Fast food, cool drinks and delicious coffee will be on sale and Goldstones will be selling the commemorative College 150th wines from Khwela’s Corner.
Secure parking will be available on both Princess Margaret Drive and on our fields across College Road.
Tickets are available at the Dulce Coffee Shop 033 342 3487 and at College 033 342 9878, tickets will also be on sale on the day.
