Anderson wins in Washington
Updated | By Andre Bloem

Kevin Anderson has won his third round match at the Washington Open tennis tournament.
Anderson, the seventh seed, defeated Mardy Fish 7-6 6-1 on Thursday.
Anderson will play Juan Martin Del Potro next.
Meanwhile, Olga Puchkova was forced to default her second round match in Washington.
This after hitting a line judge with a ball after losing a point.
Puchkova apologised later and made it clear that she had not intended to hit the match official.
However, tennis rules dictate that a player must be defaulted in such an instance.
