Former president Jacob Zuma is expected to lay criminal charges against the lead prosecutor in his corruption trial on Thursday.

The Jacob Zuma Foundation confirmed the plans on Wednesday.
The chargers against Billy Downer will be laid at Pietermaritzburg police station.
"Tomorrow at about 1pm at Pietermaritzburg Police station there will be a media briefing after President Zuma opens a case against Advocate Billy Downer following all the admission of irregularities as were tabled in court on September 22, so Indeed tomorrow we will give more details," said spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi.
The case relates to allegations that Downer leaked Zuma's medical records and therefore breaching of sections 41(6) read with 41(7) of the NPA Act.
The NPA's legal team refuted the allegation in court.
Meanwhile, the Pietermaritzburg High Court is expected to deliver judgment on Zuma's application to have Downer removed from the case on October 26.
