Zuma appoints Mhlantla to ConCourt
Updated | By News24
President Jacob Zuma has appointed Justice Nonkosi Zoliswa Mhlantla as a judge of the Constitutional Court, the presidency announced yesterday.
Mhlantla, who is currently a judge of the Supreme Court of Appeal, will take up the new position from December 1, spokesperson Bongani Majola said in a statement.
The appointment filled the vacancy left by Justice Thembile Skweyiya.
Skweyiya retired in May last year. He died in September this year at the age of 76.
Zuma wished Mhlantla all the best in her new responsibilities.
