Woman killed in Woodhaven domestic dispute

A woman has died after being stabbed during an alleged domestic dispute in Woodhaven, south of Durban.

Emergency services responded to the scene on Finfoot Street in the early hours of this morning.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says medics were escorted into the house by police.
"It is alleged that a domestic dispute occurred and a female in her late forties had been stabbed multiple times leaving her fatally injured."

Paramedics found a man also in his forties with multiple stab wounds to his body. He was in a serious condition and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize him on scene."
Jamieson says he was transported under police guard to a nearby Hospital for the further care that he required.
The exact circumstances leading up to the stabbing is unknown however SAPS will be investigating further.
