Man killed M13 crash

A man has been killed in a crash in Westville on Saturday morning.

His bakkie veered off the road and crashed into a home, near the Salisbury off-ramp on the M13.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says the driver is believed to have been in his 30s.
"ALS Paramedics and ER24 arrived on scene to find [that] the badly damaged bakkie had crashed through a residential house.

"Paramedics assessed the driver and only occupant of the vehicle and found that the male had sustained major injuries and there was nothing paramedics could do for her and he was declared deceased on the scene.
“At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown, however SAPS and Metro Police were in attendance and will be investigating further."
