Woman gunned down while driving home in Tongaat

A woman has been shot and killed in Tongaat, north of Durban.
Details surrounding the incident are still sketchy, but it's understood the woman was driving home on the main road when a gunman opened fire on her.
Riza Saddack of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) spoke to Newswatch from the scene on Thursday.

"Upon arrival of emergency services, it was noted that a female in the driver's seat of the vehicle was sadly declared deceased.
"The shooter is unknown at this time and the motive is also unknown. This will be investigated by the local SAPS."
Reaction Unit South Africa's Vinod Singh was also on the scene.
"The female sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her body and one shot to her head. Initial reports indicate the suspect allegedly fled on foot. The motive for the shooting is unknown."
