WhatsApp new policy in force from today
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
If you're a Whatsapp user and haven't yet accepted the messaging app's new terms of service, you face being kicked out of some features in the coming days and weeks.
The app's new policy comes into force from today. If users have not agreed by today, the app will gradually turn off calls and messages until they accept the terms.
Parent company, Facebook says the update was necessitated by new features for messaging businesses.
It had planned to introduce the new term in February this year but postponed it to this month after users went up in arms.
Some moved to other messaging platforms.
