Westville resident dies after apparent home invasion

A man's been killed in an apparent home invasion in Westville North.

Two other people were hurt in the early Tuesday morning incident on Rodger Sishi Road.
Paramedic, Garrith Jamieson says they were called to the property after 5am and that it appears there had been an attack on three residents there.
"On arrival, paramedics found three occupants of the house who had sustained various injuries.

"A male, believed to be in his 50s, had sustained a critical stab wound and was stabilised on scene by advanced life support paramedics before the man went into cardiac arrest.
"Despite paramedics and doctors attempts at hospital, the patient had succumbed to his injuries.
"Two other occupants from the resident sustained moderate injuries and have also been transported hospital," says Jamieson.
Police are on the scene.
