WATCH: South Africa's Dijana, Steyn win Comrades race

The first man and woman have crossed the finish line of the Ultimate Human Race.

The South African athlete Tete Dijana won his third Comrades Marathon with a time of 05:25:28.
He was first over the line in the 89th edition from Pietermaritzburg to Durban with last year’s winner, the Dutchman Piet Wiersma coming in second.

In the women's race, South Africa's Gerda Steyn, who led the charge with a time of 5:51:19 and won her fourth title.
Russian athlete Alexandra Morozova was second.
