Virginia Airport helicopter crash leaves 3 injured

A chopper went down at Virginia Airport in Durban North on Wednesday morning.
Paul Herbst, who's with Medi Response, says three people have been hurt.

"Three people escaped serious injury when a helicopter crashed at Virginia Airport.
"The pilot and two passengers are understood to have sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for further care."

He says various emergency teams were at the scene.
The Civil Aviation Authority will investigate the cause of the crash.
