Updated | By Newswatch
Veteran broadcaster Darren Scott has passed away.

The radio legend lost his battle with stage four cancer at the age of 61.
Scott, who marked 40 years in radio last year, had a diverse career in the industry.
He'll be fondly remembered as 'Just Plain Darren' during his time as an afternoon drive jock at East Coast Radio.
Joburg-based station Hot 102.7 FM says the father-of-two fought cancer with grit, humour, and determination for years and describes him as a gifted communicator.
