Umlazi schoolboy dies after being stabbed by fellow learner

The family of an Umlazi schoolboy who died in hospital yesterday after being stabbed at school, says they've been hoping to be woken up from a bad dream.
Ntando Manyoni - who was in Grade 11 - was stabbed in the chest last week by a fellow learner at Vukuzakhe High School.
It is believed that 18-year-old Ntando had been protecting his friend's sister - who was apparently being harassed by the suspect during the school's sports day.
Ntando's aunt, Thulile Manyoni says his teacher arrived at their home with his bloodied shirt to break the news of the stabbing to them.
"For a minute we waited for [news of] what's going - if there is just an injury inside or not. So I thought no, this is it. And then yesterday they said the news that he didn't make it, he's gone - he's dead. It's difficult for all of us," she said.
The 18-year-old suspect is expected to appear at the Umlazi Magistrate's Court tomorrow facing a charge of murder.
Manyoni says they want justice for her nephew.
"We'd like to see this one through - we are very, very hurt, we are disturbed about this thing. So we want to see it through - we will see it through. Every time that he goes to court, we will be there," she said.
