Two suspects to appear in court tomorrow for Inchanga murder
Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
Two suspects linked to the murder of SACP member Nsiki Blose in Inchanga, northern Kwazulu-Natal, will appear in the Camperdown Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
The 48-year-old was killed on Sunday evening.
Yesterday violence broke-out in the area, leading to a man - understood to be an ANC Youth League member - being stoned and shot to death by community members.
Four houses were also torched, and roads were barricaded with stones and burning tyres - which led to the arrest of 41 people.
Police were then deployed in the area to calm the situation.
The police's Shoes Magudelela says members are still at the scene monitoring the situation, but calm has been restored.
"The Hawks has taken over the investigation of the case, and they are expected to have more arrests made in terms of the murders that took place yesterday and the day before," he said.
The 41 people who have been arrested are facing charges of public violence, and will be appearing in the Camperdown Magistrate's Court today.
