There has been a mudslide at a home in La Mercy, north of Durban.
Search and rescue teams were on the scene.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst, two women couldn't get out of the property on Wednesday morning.
"One bank collapsed and the mudslide engulfed one house, entrapping two females.
"Rescue workers have managed to successfully rescue the two ladies with no injuries."
