Two men in Durban court for dealing in drugs

Two suspected drug dealers will line up in a Durban court on Friday.
Police say the duo was found in possession of drugs valued at nearly half-a-million rand at a lodge on Dr Pixley kaSeme Street in the city centre.

KZN SAPS’ Nqobile Gwala says they were arrested on Thursday.
"The team entered the lodge and a 53-year-old man was found attempting to dispose of a black bag that was in his possession. Inside the bag, police found 2070 grams of methcathinone, 55 grams of crystal meth, 25 grams of cocaine powder and 20 grams of rock cocaine. The estimated value of the recovered drugs is R475 000.
“Another 27-year-old was found at the same premises in possession of 31,10 grams of methcathinone. The recovered drugs are valued at R6000. Both suspects are appearing before the Durban Magistrate’s Court for possession and dealing in drugs."
