Two injured in Mandeni substation explosion
Two men have been injured after a substation exploded in Mandeni, north of Durban.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says advanced life support paramedics were called out to the scene on Thursday and established that an electrical substation had exploded.

Herbst says they found two men who sustained critical injuries.
"Paramedics worked to stabilise the men who both suffered extensive burns.
"One patient was airlifted by emergency services and the second transported by road to a local hospital under the care of advanced life support paramedics."
