Two granted bail for NHLS tender fraud

Two people, including the Chief Financial Officer at the National Health Laboratory Service, have appeared in court for alleged fraud.

Fifty-seven-year-old Michael Sass and 32-year-old businesswoman, Felicia Sekete were in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court sitting Palm Ridge, south of Johannesburg on Monday morning.
Hawks spokesperson Katlego Mogale says the pair are accused of contravening the Public Finance Management Act.
"The case has been postponed to October. Each suspect was granted R20 000 bail."
