Two dead, eight injured on R603
Netcare911's Chris Botha says he accident occurred earlier today. Eight other people were injured - several of them critically.
"Paramedics are still standing on the scene of a very horrific accident where a taxi and a truck collided head-on.
"The road however is closed, and there will be severe traffic backlogs until the SAPS conclude with their investigation," he said.
The KZN Road Traffic Inspectorate says emergency services are waiting for a helicopter to land at the scene. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
