Two arrested following Durban rock throwing incidents

Two people have been arrested following separate rock throwing incidents on the M4 freeway.
Police say a man was travelling with his family on the southbound lane near Umhlanga yesterday, when someone threw a rock at his vehicle.

SAPS spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says there was damage to the vehicle."We can confirm that a 27-year-old man was arrested by Durban North SAPS for malicious damage to property," said Mbele.
In another incident also yesterday, a 54-year-old woman was travelling on the M4 north when a suspect threw a rock damaging her vehicle's windscreen.

"The driver sustained minor injuries due to the broken glass and was taken to hospital for further medical treatment. The suspect in that matter was located at a taxi rank and arrested."Show's Stories
