Day two of the viewing of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu's body which is lying in state at St George's Cathedral in Cape Town is expected to resume at 9am today.
This is to allow the public who wish to bid farewell to the Arch the opportunity to do so until 4pm today.
His remains will then be interred inside the Cathedral after his body has been cremated after the funeral service on Saturday.
The Archbishop Desmond Tutu IP Trust and the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation hosted an intimate evening with friends of the Arch and his wife of 66 years last night.

Grandson of former President, Nelson Mandela, Chief Mandla Mandela, described the late Arch as the conscience of the country.
"He spared no condemnation for the evil Apartheid state and when individuals on our government and movement started serving themselves instead of the people, they too became a subject of his condemnation."
"Few have acheived the right balance of being a man of God and also a man of the people for the people."
