Truck crash closes N3 at Van Reenens
Authorities are on the N3 in the vicinity of Van Reenen's Pass where two
trucks are on fire.
One person was killed when the vehicles collided earlier.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Sindi Msimang says traffic is heavily backed up, with both the Durban and Joburg sides closed:
"The fire department is busy now trying to extinguish the fire on both the trucks. There will be a cleanup process after that and then the road will be opened. Traffic officials are working very hard for the road to be opened."
