The trial of former Zambian national football team coach, Milutin Sredojevic, will begin in a Gqeberha court on Wednesday.
Sredojevic also coached Orlando Pirates between 2017 and 2019.
The National Prosecuting Authority says the trial relates to a case of sexual assault which allegedly occurred during the Cosafa Cup tournament in Nelson Mandela Bay last December.
Spokesperson Anelisa Ngckani, says trial of the 51-year-old is set down for two days.
”The trial was supposed to start in May. However, he failed to appear in court due to alleged challenges in acquiring a South African visa.”
