Tongaat family man killed in home invasion

A Tongaat man has been killed in a home invasion. KZN police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says a family was woken up by footsteps in their Watsonia home in the early hours of this morning.
"Suddenly, they saw two men in the house. The men stabbed the 38-year-old man in the head and was declared dead at the scene," she said.

The suspects fled the scene on foot with two cellphones and a laptop.
A search for the assailants is under way. Police are appealing for information that could help track them down.
