Nabeel Dawood appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.

He has been granted bail of R50 000.

Panayiotis Kleovoulou and Nicolaos Koupis were arrested in Bloemfontein last week.

The National Prosecuting Authority says they appeared in court on Thursday and given bail of R100 000.

The trio is alleged to have been involved in the abduction of the 60-year-old man in July as he was leaving his business on Umgeni Road in Durban.

He was held hostage for seven days. His family received a ransom demand of R10 million, which was paid.

KwaZulu-Natal police say detectives traced the money to the Free State and made the first two arrests.

The three men are due back in court in December.
