Taylors Halt attack 'pure act of cruelty'
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Residents in the Msunduzi township
of Taylors Halt have described an attack on 15 men - who were set on fire in an
RDP home - as an act of pure cruelty.
Ten of the victims were burnt alive by an armed group that stormed the property, ordered them to undress, and doused them with petrol.
Two survivors are in hospital with severe burn wounds.
The area's ward 3 councillor Skhanyiso Makhaye says residents are shocked.

"This house has always been a concern for residents because we all knew that the known drug addicts go there to smoke whoonga and some lived there.
"This was an unsettling event for everyone. However, what happened was pure cruelty. No one deserves to be killed in that manner regardless of what wrong they could have done."
