Suspects to appear in court for illegal abortion clinic

Two people are appearing in the Durban Magistrates Court today for allegedly running an illegal abortion clinic in the city.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says police conducted an operation in a building in West Walk in the CBD.
She says the 40-year-old and 48-year-old suspects were taken into custody then.
"The police also seized abortion pills, electronic devices and documentation. One of their victims was also found inside the room and was taken to hospital for medical attention. They were also taken to Durban Central and are appearing today in the Durban Magistrate's Court," she says.
