The Democratic Alliance has lead a march against state capture to the march to the Limpopo Provincial Treasury.

Last week, thousands marched to the Union Buildings, led by opposition party leaders of the EFF, DA, Cope, UDM and IFP.

Speaking at the event, Maimane said the party will continue to pursue charges against President Jacob Zuma.

Meanwhile, political analyst Sanusha Naidu says mass action against the President brings to the fore an opportunity for robust debate on some of the key challenges facing the country that are also linked to the presidency.

The EFF and COPE pulled out of the demonstration citing logistical problems.

Naidu says it's time for South Africans to look at the bigger picture.

"We have this protest around state capture but there's the question around ownership of resources, issues around wealth, financial transactions and accountability. There're are ongoing investigations around transactioning on the JSE when the announcement was made on the [Cabinet] reshuffle," she said.
