Spate of murders rock Inchanga

Police have been deployed in Inchanga, west of Durban - following more killings in the area.

On Monday, brothers Ndumisa and Thobani Shozi were killed in Fredhill.
The following day, 21-year-old Lungisani Mchunu was shot dead at his home in eDiphini.

Another man - who was with Mchunu - was wounded in the arm and stomach, and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The police's Thembeka Mbhele says cases of murder and attempted murder have been opened at Inchanga Police Station.
"We are in the early stage of the investigation. The motive at the present is unknown. But the police are investigating, the public order police they are there at Inchanga, they deployed there at Inchanga monitoring the situation and also doing the visibility and crime prevention in the area," she said.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
