Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her 48-year-old husband during a domestic dispute near Hibberdene on the KZN south coast.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele, says it is believed that the 36-year-old threw a knife at her husband during an argument at their home on Friday night in Pumula.
"The wife took the knife and threw it towards the deceased", she said.
"This caused the victim to collapse and bleed to death. The suspect was arrested immediately," Mbhele said.
Mbele says the woman’s facing a murder charge and will appear in court tomorrow.
