Slain PMB nurse to be buried on the south coast

The father of sister Thabisile Daysen Doyisa says her funeral will take place in Port Shepstone on the south coast tomorrow, despite her husband's family calling for her to be returned to them for burial.
Fuze Doyisa had been speaking at his daughter's memorial service at the Edendale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg yesterday.
The midwife was gunned down in her Napierville home last week in front of her helper and four children.

Her father says he would have taken his daughter back in and looked after her had he known she was having problems in her marriage.
"What hurts the most is that I did not know there was tension between my daughter and her husband. I was also informed that she died because of him, according to police. I also heard that my daughter's husband had taken a second wife. He had not even told me about this,'' he said.
Health MEC Sibongiseni Dhlomo attended the service. He spoke out against men abusing women, saying this was the third incident in which a nurse was killed.
