Six hurt after truck ploughs into five cars in Bellair

A truck ploughed into five vehicles on the M7 in the Bellair area on Wednesday morning.

One vehicle overturned after the collision on the Durban-bound route under the N2 bridge.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson described the scene as chaotic.
"A total of six patients seemed to have been needing medical assistance. More ambulances, as well as advanced life support paramedics, were dispatched to assist,” he said.

"Four of the occupants were treated on scene before they were transported through to various Durban hospitals for the further care that they required."
He said traffic was severely affected following a diesel spill on the Durban-bound route.
