The Sharks take on Western Province in the Currie Cup final, with hometown advantage.

The Durban-based outfit finished top of the log this year, winning 11 out of 13 fixtures.

The Sharks then beat the Blue Bulls in the semi-finals to secure their first home final since 2012.

The men in black and white last won the tournament in 2013, beating Western Province 33-19 in Cape Town.

The Sharks have won the Currie Cup seven times.

Sharks marketing and media manager, Novashni Chetty is urging fans to head to the stadium to support the team.

"We haven't had a final in Durban for four years. The last final we hosted was in 2012. We are hoping for a full stadium, anywhere in the region of 40,000 to 50,000 people will be fantastic. Players want to give it their all. They're training hard and the support from the fans will give them that added edge they're looking for," she said.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 4pm.
