Senzo Meyiwa murder trial: Teffo questions the opening of two dockets
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The first forensic expert to arrive on the Senzo Meyiwa murder scene has admitted it's strange that two separate dockets have been opened by the SAPS for the case.
Sergeant Thabo Mosia told the North Gauteng High Court he has never come across such a situation in all his 14 years as a forensic expert.
The question was put to him by Advocate Malesela Teffo during cross-examination on Wednesday.

The court heard that one docket was registered in 2014 when Meyiwa was killed and the other in 2019.
Teffo, who is representing four of the five accused, says in his experience as a lawyer, this in his opinion, is unprecedented.
"I have never been in the case whereby for a single incident there are two dockets with different investigating officers with a different theory and for the same people whereby these investigators both of them are from the South African Police Service. It's now like a territorial battle."
