Sentencing proceedings in the case against a hitman who killed African National Congress (ANC) councillor Thami Nyembe in Nongoma has been postponed to December.

Fisokuhle Ntuli was found guilty of the 2016 murder by the Esikhaleni Regional Court on Monday.
He's also been linked to the murders of Butiza Mahlobo, Sphamandla Zungu and brothers Phiwayinkosi Zulu, Mcebisi Zulu and Sibusiso Zulu.
He's been further convicted of four counts of unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
Police say at the sentencing hearing on Tuesday, the defence team asked that a pre-sentencing report from a parole officer and a social worker be presented to the court before sentencing is passed.
The judge granted the request.
