Security to be beefed up at Sibudu Cave
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority says it's beefing up security at the province's newly designated heritage site.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) added the Security to be beefed up at Sibudu Cave in KwaDukuza to its World Heritage List last month.
It's one of three locations in South Africa included on the register for its importance in understanding the origins of modern humans.

The Tourism and Film Authority's Sibusiso Gumbi says those taking care of the caves will be given training.
"This is a huge achievement by all involved, spending decades of preparation and commitment.
"An accolade like this will put KZN on the global map, and ours is to drive greater destination awareness and get even more tourists to KZN to enjoy this globally celebrated site."
