Second fatality confirmed after Pretoria plane crash

The Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that a second person has died following yesterday's plane crash in northern Pretoria.

One person died after the charter plane crashed near Wonderboom airport shortly after taking off.
Nineteen people were on board - including three crew members.
The CAA says the second person died in hospital today - and had been one of three other injured people who had been on the ground when the aircraft came down.

In a statement, the CAA says the plane had been en route to Pilanesburg - carrying passengers and crew from South Africa, the Netherlands and Australia.
The authority says the Convair 340 was registered in South Africa and owned by Rovos Rail.
