Scheduled water cuts for Durban's inner west areas
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Planned water supply interruptions are on the cards for some of Durban's inner west parts on Tuesday.

eThekwini says these will last 12 hours and are due to construction work at the Durban Heights Treatment Works by Umngeni Water.
The Municipality's Msawakhe Mayisela says this might affect residents in Pinetown and its surrounding areas.
"The construction will take place on 15 September 2020 from 07:00am to 19:00pm.
"We are therefore appealing to the public to use water sparingly but we would like to assure the public that tankers will be on stand by to ensure that they provide water where it may be needed.

"This is an important operation that Umngeni water is compelled to execute. As a result we are appealing to the public to please bare with us."
"The following areas might experience poor pressure or no water towards latter times of the shutdown period, amid the construction: Westville, Cowies Hill, Pinetown CBD, Sarnia, Ashley, Mosley Park, Paradise Valley, Nazareth, Caversham, Dawncliffe, Clermont, New Germany Industrial, parts of KwaDabeka.
