Newswatch has scoured the toy stores to bring you the ultimate toy guide for Christmas 2016 - and make you the coolest parents around! From Disney to Lego, Star Wars, and even some animatronic furry friends - these toys are guaranteed to spread some festive cheer come Christmas day!

These are some of the most popular toys around the world this year:
Hatchimals
A Hatchimal is an interactive toy that hatches from a plastic egg.
Since it's launch in October 2016, this unique toy has sold-out in toy shops from San Francisco to São Paulo, and everywhere in-between!.
This toy works by getting kids to nurture the egg, in order to allow it to hatch. The Hatchimal inside will then peck at the egg, until it eventually hatches.
The adorable and furry Hatchimal will also learn to walk, talk and play games - meaning that kids have to teach it all the skills in order to do so, and continue to raise it from an infant, until it reaches the adult stages.
And the great thing is that your kids will be spoilt for choic, with five Hatchimal species for them to choose from and raise: Pengualas, Draggles, Owlicorns, Burtles and Bearakeets.
Furby
The popular 90's toy, Furby - which resembles a hamster or owl-like creature - is back this Christmas! But this time around, it has brand-new, version 2.0 features, including built-in Bluetooth for connection to tablets.
The Furby is available in a variety of colours, and there is also a special Star Wars Chewbacca edition. It also interacts with people, and can adopt different personalities which can be reset at any point.
(This toy may also bring on a bout of nostalgia for parents who had one of these adorable creatures when they were kids!)
Lego:
For generations, Lego has been on the wishlist of little boys and girls the world over. And this year is no different. From superheroes to pirates, princesses and even Star Wars, there's a Lego set for every kid's preference.
The popular block toys are also a great way for kids to let their imaginations soar, with countless designs and themes for them to create and build with.
Frozen
Kids just can't seem to "Let It Go" when it comes to all things Frozen. The much-loved Disney movie has turned every little girl into an Elsa and Ana-loving princess.
From books to dolls and even Olaf teddy bears, there's a Frozen-themed toy available everywhere.
Star Wars merchandise:
With the recent release of the newest movie in the beloved Star Wars series, Rogue One, now out on the big screens, toy creator Hasbro expects sales for its Star Wars-themed range of toys to spike.
The great thing about the Star Wars franchise is that the merchandise can be found anywhere, and on everything - from video games, to books, plush toys, and even Lego - which means that your little Jedi-in-training can have their pick of toys from the series.
All these toys are available at leading toy outlets, nationwide.
