SANDF troops for Mozambique confirmed
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
President Cyril Ramaphosa has confirmed that they have deployed SANDF troops to Palma, Mozambique.

Jihadists raided the coastal town on Palma last week Wednesday, sending residents and expats fleeing. He says they have attended to the issue of evacuating those South Africans stranded in the East African country.
This week the army repatriated the body of local man Adrian Nel who was killed during an insurgent attack last week. His father and brother who were also stranded in Palma arrived home safely.
Nel's mother Meryl Knox says she is relieved to have her loved ones home but will continue to tell her son's story.
"He was a hero. He helped to get people out of there", she said.
"We need to try find some good in this very sad time so I will do what I have to to get his story out there and hopefully the world takes note", Knox said.
