SACP member's murder case postponed
Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
The case against four men accused of murdering SACP member Nontsikelelo Blose has been postponed to later this month.
Blose was gunned down in August at a tavern in Inchanga amid tensions between the South African Communist Party and the ANC in the area.
The magistrate postponed the matter so that the defence team can be provided with statements.
Outside court, a small group of SACP members gathered to show their support for their late colleague.
Spokesperson Mhlanga Xaba says they want the trial to start.
"We want this trial to go ahead so that we can get to the bottom of this. We want to see those responsible for Ntsikelelo's death behind bars. Whenever we come to court, the groups taunt each other and there's no need for that," he said.
