SACP appeals to Parliament to continue SABC inquiry
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The South African Communist Party has appealed to Parliament to continue the inquiry into the collapse of governance at the SABC.
This comes after SABC Board Chairperson and last remaining board member Mbulaheni Maghuve tendered his resignation yesterday.
Maghuve was questioned by Parliament's Ad Hoc committee last week in investigating the board's fitness to hold office.
SACP spokesperson, Alex Mashilo says Parliament needs to appoint an interim board as soon as possible.
