KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube says she is excited that businesses still see the province as fertile ground for investment.
The premier welcomed the more than R800 million investment by SA Breweries into the expansion project of its Prospecton Brewery in Isipingo on Monday.
She said the multi-million-rand project will not only create over 25 000 job opportunities but will rekindle hope following the July unrest, the April floods and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dube Ncube said SAB's expansion will also benefit local suppliers to the tune of R652 million as the brewery is going to procure services from them.
"This investment is not just for expanding the SA Breweries, but it is going to benefit even more local people because many value chain areas will benefit.
"We already have communities that supply SA Breweries with maize and wheat, and with the expansion means we are going to be expanding those local production."
