SA COVID-19 death toll moves past 11 000 mark

South Africa's coronavirus death toll has passed the 11 000 mark.
Two hundred and forty-nine new COVID-19 related deaths were reported by the Department of Health last night.
Seventy-four of those fatalities were from KwaZulu-Natal.

The nationally tally of confirmed coronavirus cases is now over 568 000.
The number of tests done is 3 295 434, while the total number of recoveries is 432 029, which translates to a recovery rate of 75,9%.
