SA COVID-19 cases pass quarter million mark

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in South Africa has passed a quarter of a million.
Two-hundred-and fifty-thousand-687 infections have now been reported since the country's first case here in KZN in early March.
The Health Department says there are over 12-thousand new cases - with 14 percent of these in KZN.
Our province has over 21-thousand infections.
140 new deaths have been reported - 11 from KZN. This takes the country's COVID-19 death toll to 3860.
According to health officials - over two-million tests have been done to date.
