Robbery suspect fatally shot by police in Durban

A robbery suspect has been killed in a shootout with police on Jan Hofmeyr Road near a shopping centre in Westville.
At this stage, Newswatch understands that a group of suspects tried to rob the local Post Office when police intervened.
Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says a member of the public, a security guard and a police officer were also treated.
"One person has been confirmed deceased on the scene, and another two people are currently being treated by paramedics on the scene," he said.
