Repo rate unchanged at 6,75%
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
The repo rate has been left unchanged at 6.75 percent.

The South African Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee has been in meetings since Tuesday to decide on interest rates.
Making the announcement in Pretoria a short while ago, Reserve Bank Governor Lesetja Kganyago said the MPC's decision was unanimous.
"The committee continues to assess the stance of monetary policy to be accommodative. Monetary policy actions will continue to focus on anchoring inflation expectations closer to the mid-point of the inflation target - in the interest of balanced and sustainable growth," Kganyago said.
The unchanged repo rate means the prime lending stays at 10.25%.
