It expected the price of petrol to drop by around R2.00 a litre.
Diesel could be R1.00 cheaper, while the price of illuminating paraffin is expected to go down by 98 cents.
This means fuel prices are well on their way to falling underneath the R25 a litre mark.
"This is good news for motorists, consumers, and the economy, especially heading into the end of the year. These decreases come as South Africans continue to struggle financially and will be a welcome relief from the substantial increases seen since August," says the association's Layton Beard.
