Reeva's mum speaks on Oscar's release
The mother of Reeva Steenkamp has spoken for the first time since her daughter's killer was released from jail and says she does not want revenge.
Paralympian Oscar Pistorius spent a year of a five-year sentence behind bars, the rest will be served under house arrest in Pretoria.
June Steenkamp insists she does not want retribution.
"I didn't want him to be thrown in jail and be suffering because I don't wish suffering on anyone and that's not going to bring Reeva back but in my heart I don't want revenge towards him. I'm past that," she said.
