Updated | By Bulletin
President Cyril Ramaphosa says his working visit to Canada, where he participated in the G7 Summit of developed countries, was meaningful.

The summit which concluded in Canada on Tuesday, comes at a time of heightened global instability, with ongoing wars in Ukraine, Gaza, and rising conflict between Iran and Israel.
The president said he aims to align G7 efforts with South Africa’s G20 Presidency, seeking global cooperation on energy solutions and infrastructure investment.

"The issues we put on the table is climate change and how important it should be treated by the global community with regard to just energy transition. We also discussed the issue of critical mineral and the importance of how our criticial minerals should be treated."
South Africa views the #G7 as a strategic partner. We seek greater cooperation in areas such as investment, financing for development, international crime, climate change and just transitions, as well as inclusive global growth and development. #BetterAfricaBetterWorld 🌍 pic.twitter.com/yxpLDzM8iz
